The brief

OpenMicHub lets artists host open mic sessions, where audiences engage in real time through live chat and virtual coin support.

It was built twice. The first version was a 4th semester team project in PHP, MySQL and AJAX, with a WebSocket layer for the live pieces. It was then rebuilt on Spring Boot and Angular for Ambition Hackfest 2025, where it took the Social Impact Award.
